I am an aspiring game designer with a particular interest in systemic & gameplay design as well as gameplay-scripting. I am methodical, patient and have an affinity for functionality and logic. I'd rather spend some extra time and think about as many aspects of my decisions as possible, not only so I don't have to redo them but also to try to understand their context fully. As a designer, this mindset helps me make sure I have figured out the how's and why's of my design decisions so that even if I it doesn't work out, I can recover quickly.

 I strongly prefer games that manage to create varied, interesting experiences using simple, clean mechanics that are well tuned. Ideally, the games I play and design should also be highly challenging but fair. 

Other than video games, I also enjoy playing board games and pen-and-paper role-playing games. I like long walks, exploring music and taking as many opportunities as I can to learn about the world.
