Hey peeps! Say hello to Patrik, our Business partnership manager and Artist supervisor. Patrik is kind of new here at PSQ. He’s a former student who found his way back home. How awesome is that?!
We are SO excited to have him back! We asked Patrik to answer some get-to-know-you questions:
Tell me about your position at PSQ.
I’m the business partnership manager, and my role is to make connections with awesome companies in the industry for either cool collab projects or to find good and stable workplaces for our student to have their Internship. As an artist supervisor, I’m giving the students the magic of animation, motion capture, and 3D development for games.
What's your professional background?
I was a student at Playground Squad -07.
I started my own game studio in -09.
Teaching game development to upper secondary school students from -11, and now I’m working at this awesome place.
What’s your first task?
Establish relations inside the industry and connect with as many cool people as possible.
What do you look forward to doing at PSQ?
Everything?
You’ve been a student at PSQ. Share a fun memory from that time.
After a whole night crunching for an assignment that was due the day after, I fell asleep in front of my computer just before class, and my teacher sneaked up behind me, slammed his palms onto my desk, and yelled, GOOD MORNIN'!
Do you have any do’s and don’ts for future students?
Be on time, don’t fall asleep during class, and please, take this opportunity seriously. Oh, and the road to success is a bumpy one.
Patrik out!
